BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Mr. Daum is a Managing Director and Partner with Growth Capital Partners, a private investment firm based in Manhattan. In addition to his current investment activities, Mr. Daum is an active underwriting “Name” at Lloyds of London, managing one of the largest individual portfolios. He is a Director of the Visiting Nurse Service of New York and a member of the Advisory Board of Insurance Capital Partners in London, U.K.
Ms. Kim Erle – Treasurer
Ms. Erle is a founder and Partner of Trajectory Asset Management LLC, a quantitative fund manager based in New York, where she acts as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer. Ms. Erle holds an MA in International Affairs and Economics from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, and an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School, where she won the Beta Gamma Sigma alumni award for graduating first in her class. Ms. Erle resides in New York City with her husband and three children.
Herschel Goldfield is a Senior Counsel in the Health Care Law Department of the law firm Proskauer Rose LLP. He has been a practicing health care lawyer for 15 years and involved in the health care industry for over 20 years. He has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America (for health care) since 2005. Herschel is also an Adjunct Professor at the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University, teaching the law of health care administration. Mr. Goldfield lives in Manhattan with his wife and two children.
Mr. Jordan Grant
Mr. Grant is the founder and managing principal of two investment companies, Brass Room Partners LLC and Downhole Partners LLC. Through the investment companies he holds interests in Nigerian Independent Oil and Gas Exploration and Production Company, Platform Petroleum Limited and Canadian based Oil and Gas Service Company, Hydrotestors International. Mr. Grant works to develop the strategy for and actively participates in the management of Hydrotestors in addition to developing new oil and gas partnerships. Mr. Grant earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Morehouse College and a Masters of Business Administration from Columbia University.
Ms. Jinx Cozzi Perullo – Secretary
Ms. Cozzi Perullo currently serves as the director for education programs for the Peter Jay Sharp Foundation in New York City. Previously, she spent thirty-five years in New York City public school system, holding many administrative, supervisory and guidance related positions in various city high schools. Immediately prior to her recent retirement, Ms. Cozzi Perullo served as principal of Stuyvesant High School in New York City.
Mr. Cliff Schorer
Mr. Schorer is Director of the Columbia University Greenhouse Program and is a professor at Columbia Business School specializing in businesses with unique ideas that require energy and guidance during their initial growth phases. Mr. Schorer serves in a consultative capacity to global corporations including Lucent Technologies, AT&T, and Glaxo SmithKline, Forbes, and Sony. He is also the author of Grow, a financial management software package for emerging companies.
Dr. Charles Schleien
Dr. Schleien is Vice Chair of the Department of Pediatrics at the Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons as well as Professor of Pediatrics and Anesthesiology and Director of the division of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine. He was took a lead role in formulating the international pediatric guidelines in CPR and has received prestigious fellowships from the Society of Critical Care Medicine as well as the American Heart Association. In 2008 he received his MBA from the Columbia Business School. He lives in Larchmont, NY with his wife and 2 sons, the older attends Babson College.
Ms. Andrea Wenner
Ms. Wenner, Founder & Executive Director of Out2Play, graduated from Columbia Business School with an MBA in 2005. She graduated as a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma honor society and with concentrations in Real Estate and Entrepreneurship.
